I can remember just how long ago I got myself this fabric, perhaps a couple of years on a jaunt to NYC. I really like nowhere tropical feel, the pineapples and surfboards, palms and tropical drinks. A rayon and cotton blend I figured it might make a great little dress to wear with an island vacation.

For me personally, Personally, i like the D'Addario type of strings - it's things i use on my 6- and 12-string acoustics, plus they sound great. I personally use the Phosphor Bronze (a somewhat bright-toned string) for my 6-string, since I occasionally do fingerpicking - the brightness of the string offsets the mellow tones you typicallly receive from fingerpicking, so everything sounds nice and balanced (in my experience, anyway). Playing those strings having a pick is really a *little* harsh until they are broken in, however they generally sound great.
