لقد مر بتونس ماهو اسوا حيث باكتوبر 1969 نزل بيوم واحد معدل سنه كامله وفي بعض الاماكن معدل سنتين في يوم واحد
فقد سجلت مدينه الجم اكثر من 500 ملم علي مدار يومين استمر فيها نزول المطار بينما معدل المدينه السنوي لا يتجاوز 250 ملم
